Skype status button always shows "offline"

Hey there, love the new templates (blue is my favorite--you should consider making it permanent / default...)!
Anyway, was hoping someone here could help me out. I'm using a Skype button for my website (see for instance here: http://www.skype.com/share/buttons/), which is supposed to show whether I'm online on Skype right there on my website pages.
The problem? I copied the code exactly, but my button always shows that I'm offline, even when I'm not! I tried signing out and back in to skype, changing my status manually, and everything I could think of but no joy. Is this a Skype bug??
